Marisa is a Kansas native who received her Bachelor of Science in Education in Exercise Science at the University of Kansas. She then attended Wichita State University where she received her Masters in Physician Assistant in 2013. She has worked in family practice for over 7 years and enjoys all aspects from preventive care to acute health care needs for all ages and strives for patient-centered care. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is married with 2 children and enjoys running, spending time with her family and KU sports.
